Sangam Gath Prayag
Sangam Ghat is one of the most important and sacred locations in Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), India. It is situated at the confluence of the three holy rivers: the Ganges (Ganga), the Yamuna, and the mythical Sarasvati river, a place known as the Triveni Sangam. The word “Sangam” itself means “confluence” in Sanskrit, and the Ghat is revered for its spiritual significance, particularly in Hinduism.
Maha Kumbh 2025
The bathing ritual at Sangam Ghat during Kumbh is considered to be extremely auspicious, with many pilgrims traveling from all over India and abroad to participate in the sacred dip.
